Another Day. . .

The apartment village I’m currently staying at for the summer is composed of two sections connected by a small bridge. The bridge goes over a non-moving stream surrounded by a plethora of greenery that makes me think I’m in the jungle. Today, I discovered that someone must have thrown overboard what seems to be an old-school television set. I just had to make a fool of myself to all passerbys by attempting to get close enough to take a cool picture. And how did I do this? By crouching down, arms, head, and part shoulders through the steel bars of the bridge (as seen at the top of the photo)!

Balsamic vinegar + extra virgin olive oil as a bread dip? Delicious. I prefer more balsamic vinegar in mine whereas he prefers less. I also don’t like to mix the two together, instead leaving the two as is after they’re poured onto the plate, whereas he does. No matter though. We made use of our two separate plates. Although I don’t think it would have been the end of the world should we have only one plate. Oh, the subtle differences in our often compatible tastes.

My first official post! πŸ™‚ Doesn’t that look yummy? Of course it does. This was taken when my Mom and I decided to take a break from walking around the mall. Deciding to indulge myself I chose this piece of dessert! I must have looked like an idiot by taking a picture of something that’ll be gone in a couple of minutes, but i couldn’t help myself. I then realized that these days when almost everyone is worried about eating right and keeping healthy it’s alright to treat yourself to something sweet once in awhile πŸ™‚
