An afternoon stroll through the village, I came across a patch of webs decorating a fire hydrant. It’s usually the small things in life that always catches the greatest attention. It’s also what we take for granted. 50 years from now when half the natural world has been destroyed for the advancement of our lives, it’s things like this that we’ll miss.
These two parked cars caught my attention. The juxtaposition of old and new–the past and the present–is what struck me for reasons I can’t quite explain. Perhaps I saw it as a symbolism for how we can still be side-by-side despite our differences. (And I promise this will be my last portrait shot.)
